[dropcap]Sabaidee/Hello[/dropcap] everyone and a (belated) happy new year! I hope that you’ve had a very joyful January so far, and the rest of the year is smooth/happy sailing. smile
I’ve been inspired to blog more regularly again. So, instead of posting monthly art updates (as mentioned in the last post), I’ve decided to post weekly art updates every Sunday instead. Also, if there’s extra news/info to share, I’ll be posting them in between too. Everything is possible.
This is good news for all because I do enjoy blogging/writing. And by doing so on a more regular/weekly basis, it helps keep me more motivated/focused. Hopefully, this will result in more art making by me, and more finished art works for you to enjoy.
I plan to keep these weekly art updates short/brief so that I don’t spend too much time writing them (instead of painting/creating art!) and so that you don’t find it a chore to read them.
As some of you may know, I do enjoy using social media, esp. Instagram (@ngeun). Please feel free to follow me there. You might ask/wonder, what’s the point of having a blog/website when I can just share content on Instagram? Well, I think that by keeping/maintaining my blog, it helps promote my own site/gallery which I can soon use to sell my artworks on. Also, I feel that I have more security and control on my content, if Instagram should end, for example. And, there are no restrictions/limits on the content that I share on my site and I can write/publish what and how much I want. So, it makes sense for me to blog and update/maintain my website, and use social media when I choose to.
If you haven’t already done so, please sign up for my Newsletter to receive new blog posts and the latest news about my art career. You can find the Newsletter sign up form at the right of the screen if you’re using a laptop/computer, or at the bottom of the screen if you’re using a mobile phone. All that you need to provide is your email address (the first and last name are optional).
To help celebrate/welcome the new year and the first of my regular/weekly art updates, here’s a lovely still-life of a vase/jar of flowers that I recently acquired from the local op shop. Read more about it in the caption below. Thanks again for your kind support. Have a great week (and Australia Day) ahead!
